I would like to print out a small appointment card for our team players.
I am keeping track of all this season’s games in a spreadsheet that has 2 columns (Date/Time, Team1 vs. Team2). I have fixed column headers.
I use a horizontal page break that allows only for 6 rows plus header row (2 inches) and a vertical page break to allow for only 2 columns (8 inches).
The paper size is legal length but I have set the width to 20 inches. The reason for this is I want to have 12 appointments be printed, 6 on the left and 6 on the right side, and this be repeated through the length of the paper. Then I can cut and fold the paper so the team players can stick it in there wallets.
To be more specific:
The speadsheet may have dozens of rows for the appointments for the whole season, but on the fold card I may select only the next 12 to print out. These 12 must be broken into 2 groups, the first 6 on the left side and the second on the right. And because only 2 inches of the paper are used for one group, I want the group to repeat it self the lenght of the paper – then I can make about 6 folding cards on one paper.
When it’s time to print the next 12 appt., I only need to mark and print.
I have gotton as fars as in the print preview I see the 6 rows plus header on the left side, nothing on the right, and, instead of repeating the same further down on the page, I get a new page.
How do I do this? Can anyone help me? Should I use Word, or a combination of both?
