Excel fonts on Macintosh

Excel 2001 for Macintosh

I have a macintosh here that when you choose
a font from the list it will choose a font 12
choices above it. ie) choose Wingdings and
get Times new roman.

The fonts have been deleted and reloaded.
Excel has been reloaded,
Word doesn’t have the same problem making
me think that it is just Excel.
