Excel Formula

I have a user that had a very long column of numbers that need to be displayed in a particular format.

The numbers need to be shown as 6 digits, i.e 000612, 008634 or 082643. Ofcourse with excel the 0’s are removed.

What formula could I apply to the column to always display 6 digits, adding either 1,2 or 3 0’s depending on the number.
