Excel question

Is there a way to type text in one cell to have it replace many other cells with the same text?
I can not use find and replace because sometimes the orginal text is not typed exactly and sometimes I would be replacing certain cells and not other cells with the text.

For example if I type NAME in cell A: A1 I want to have the same word placed in A: A5, B: A7 etc…
