Exchange 2000 Server Installation

Hello Everyone,
I am having a problem installing Exchange 2000 Server. What I am trying to do is to have only one AD and control all the users from this one AD.

Right now we have Enterprise Windows 2000 server with AD only. We would like to use Exchange 2000 server as our primary email server. My question is how do I install Exchange 2000 without installing AD on Exchange 2000 Server? Please help! I can’t seem to find a step by step document on this scenario.
