Exchange 5.5/Outlook 2002

When sending an appointment to a Distribution Group in Outlook 2002, one of the members of that group are receiving the appointment twice in their inbox. This only happens with Appointments. Email msgs sent to that same group are only sent to themonce like normal when it is a normal email.
Any help is appreciated.
