I have this weird ongoing problem with my Exchange Server. After about 15 days of Uptime, some of my Win 98 machines are not able to connect via Outlook. They can access everything else on the network. They can even resolve the Server Name from Outlook but it comes up with an error when they try to open Outlook ” Unable to Open your default Folders. The Exchange Server was Unavailable”. This starts to happen to the Dial Up Clients initially ( I use a Lucent PortMaster for Dial Up Connections) and then spreads out to some of the people who come in via Frame Relay at 128 KB circuit. It seems to be related to the speed of the connection. Clients on my local LAN work fine at 100 Meg. If I restart my Exchange EVERYTHING WORKS FINE AND NORMAL FOR ANOTHER 10 – 15 days. No Error in my event viewer and I have got a good Beefy server.
Has Anyone seen this before ??? I hope some one has !!!
Thanks
