Exchange Administrator Console

Can anyone tell me step by step how to reinstall the Exchange Administrator Console on the Exchange Server. I put the CD in the drive and choose custom install and checked the Administrator but it looked like it was going to uninstall exchange 5.5 from the server which I didn’t want so I stopped. Help
