Exchange Server is unavailable

Everytime I start Outlook 2000, I will encounter an error Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. I will click on the Retry button and after waited for some time, it starts showing my mails.
i’m using Outlook 2000 on a WIN98 DELL PC.

Anyone has solution to this problem.
