Exchange shortcut always opens a new Outlook window…

Hello,

I have a number of exchange shortcuts that I use to navigate my Outlook folder structure. Unfortunately, whenever I click one of these shortcuts a new Outlook window opens up and positions me at that folder. Soon I end up having a dozen or so Outlook windows open.

Does anyone know if there is a way through configuration or code that I can prevent a new Outlook window from opening, but rather have my current Outlook folder “jump” to the specified location?
