Extracting Cobol Data in MS-Access

Our ecommerce web-site needs to validate each transaction with the inventory system in COBOL.
The Web Server has MS-Access & ASP 3.0. However the inventory management system is developed years back in Cobol.

I need atleast one value (quantity of product) in MS-Access to validate each order.

Please suggest some way or better still some utility which will enable me to extract the values & upload on the website.
