Fail to connect to exchange server

Hi

I’m trying to deploy OWA under Win2KSp2 and Exchange 5.5 SP4.

When connecting entering the user name and password for the alias in the OWA server I get the error “Failed to connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server, ” and I can’tgo through.

Gong to the MS support pages, I found an article regarding this issue, Q178511, but is for MSEXCH 5.0. For MSEXCH 5.5 it said it should not give that access problem.

I’ve also modify the mapisvc.inf file as stated in article Q247085. with no results

Eventhough, I’ve verified all permissions for the webtemp, winnt, sys32 folders and seems OK. The .mmp files are created on the webtemp folder.

Any idea?
