Fax Software capable of e-mailing

I’m trying to find software which will allow me to fax. It needs to work over a LAN (multiple users). I know there are loads of packages for this but the one capability that I want is that you can send your fax as an e-mail – again some packages available which can do this. I have FaxNow 5 but this takes my fax message and creates an exe attachment. If I send this to a user, first of all, their firewalls could block e-mails with exe attachments, second if they are like me – I immediately delete e-mail messages with exe attachments. What I need the fax software to do, is to put the actual fax message into the e-mail – i.e. not as an attachment. Any body know if such software exists.
