I am trying to insert an ASK field into a Word template. The popup box appears correctly but the contents of the box won’t populate. There is a bookmark in place.

The field reads: { ASK Description”Description of Offence”\o \*MERGEFORMAT}

I have typed the bookmark in manually and tried to pick it up from the Options button when adding the switch – makes no difference.

Once I’ve created the field, I choose File >> New and the popup box appears – no problem there – I complete the box and choose OK but the text
I’ve typed in doesn’t appear in the field.

How do I get the text I type into the ASK popup box to appear in the document?

Would love some help with this!
