File Options Advanced Button Missing Adobe PDF

Most of the entries have an advanced button (where I can, for example, enter the “%1” to have the double-clicked file forwarded to the target program. I have a replacement for pdf handling, and in the case of pdf’s I have only a “Restore” button in place of the “Advanced Button” that exists for other file associations.
How can I change this to have the same level of access that I have for other programs? (XPPro OpSys)
