File searching utilities?

We are looking for a file searching utility for our network. Looking for something that we could possibly incorporate into our Intranet. What we are looking for is something that will search in emails, and in documents it has to work on the network. I’ve found a lot of utilities but nothing that can do this anyone know of such a thing or am I just stuck?
