Find names in exchange 2000

I have a domain Windows 2000 with Exchange 2000 too. I have a problem, when I’m going to send an e-mail to Juan Carlos and I type Carlos it does not find Juan Carlos because Carlos is not the first name. I have to type always the first name. What can I do to find any person who first or second name be Carlos????
