Finding a product key

I have a PC with a Windows 98sec for home office.
It was given to me with the Win 98 disk in it.
But I don’t have the Product key to reinstall it.
The people that gave it to me delleted a lot of things off it and with deleting this stuff they deleted the drivers for the Modem and the NIC card.
I trying to set up a home networking system but without these drivers no can do.
I know there is a way of finding the product key but it’s been many years since I did this.
Hope someone can help me dig into this system to find it.
