Hello, I have an Access database with a table that has 2 fields, 1 of the fields holds data in a alfa numerical format such AA12E3. The last figure goes from 0 to 9 then the second last figure escalates by 1 ie AA12E4 and so on.
Some of these records are missing for good reason, now I need to run a query that will find a specified amount of sequential numbers requires. I.E if I ask for 6 sequential number, I need the query to return i.e AH45A0 thru AH45A5, now it does not matter how many results are returned only that it must only be 6 sequential numbers if there are 7 or 5 sequential numbers I do not require them. I am but a bit confused on how to string a query together for this. Any help appreciated.
regards
Donn
