Forward from Exchange to external email

I have configured a rule in Outlook 2003, to forward all internal emails (Exchange & Server 2003 OS) to an external email (hotmail account). First, the rule was not working, because I have set a ‘redirect’ option, that was not supported. Then, I have set the rule to forward the emails. At Outlook, all the emails appears as “sent items”, but the hotmail account is not receiving the emails. I think a have a bad or missing configuration at Exchange Server. Please Help!
