frames in ms word

I converted a pdf into a word doc[200+ pgs], but every single line is in a frame. Is there a quick and easy way to reformat the doc so that the frames are no longer present, and keep the formatting intact – I know one can individually remove each frame, but this would be too time-consuming. Any suggestions?
