Help Me Get Out of the Dark Ages!

My client is using a PFS:Q & A Database for ALL her client records and bids. Now that you are finished rolling on the floor laughing your guts outs, here’s the scenario:

She has been using it since itthe beginning of time. It’s now her flagship database. The data files are in a .dtf format. I want to export the data into some other database. Does anyone have any ideas or have you come across this? She mentioned that a colleague, now deceased, mentioned she could go to Access or Excel, but I don’t know if that is so. I thought we could find something older, export there first, then export to an updated file format.
