Hi there, For the last 2-3 years i have been pulling my hair out at my current place of employment as they have rolled out over 300 terminals but would not allow a domain for all the upfront costs. they had trouble justifying the expense, as they never had terminals before, operating manually didnt cost them all that much money was their argument. So now im in a situation where i have 300 terminals on a bl00dy workgroup, yes very painfull and a lot of the terminals are running XP home edition *grins due to pain* Now i have bitten the bullet and basically put my foot down, i have to write a proposal to introduce exchange, so we can at least have exchange and as terminals are upgraded i will roll them over to a domain.
i require some help writing this proposal as im not experienced in Exchange at all. Im very experienced in send mail and outlook integration (not much to do there) but we have been operating like that for the last few years. So i can administrate it fine.
Where would i start?
Has anyone already done a similar proposal?
does anyone have any good docos on step by step exchange rollout? or how to use it? maybe exchange for dummies? 😛 i really appreciate your help!
