Help with Hoe network, office XP Laptop and Home Vista Desktop,

I know this is probably really simple but the answer has been evading me for the past 2 days. Any help woul be appreciated.

I have a Vista Desktop, a Hp all in one, a Linsys wirless router, and an office LaptopXP.

I wat to be able to share file between the 2 computers.
Unfortunately the work laptop is on the office domain an I do not have Administrator privelidges,(therefore can’t change to Home network workgroup)
Is there any way around this other than changing settings on my owrk laptop OR using a crossover?
