Hiding Tracked Changes in Word

Hello,

I need a method to be able to effectively remove tracked changes from a document, or stop others from seeing what has changed.

I have tried using the protect document, but it still lets people see what has been changed. Am I doing something wrong here?

Any help appreciated.
