Hot Mail Account Access

All of a sudden whenever I am trying to access hotmail account from my Internet Explorer, I am getting this problem.

Your Web browser options are currently set to disable cookies. To use .NET Passport, you must enable cookies.

I checked my settings and my cookies are enabled but somehow the hotmail website is refusing to recognise that. I am using Version 5.50.

Is there any virus that has affected my PC.
