How do you boot NT into safe mode?

I am having problems installing a CRM package in NT with administrator rights. The package seems to unpack but nothing happens. In other versions of Windows besides NT you can bring up the computer in safe mode and install. I would like to run NT insafe mode and wonder if there is a way to do this.
