How to connect old iPod to new iPod

Hi

I might be clutching at straws here but I’ll ask anyway !

I have a Klipsch speaker system and I was able to ‘click’ in my old iPod to hear the music. The iPod would have had the old 30 pin connection. Obviously the new iPods have a different connection now.

Ideally if I could get some sort of cable that had the old iPod connection at one end and the new iPod connection at the other end, I could then continue to use the speaker system that I have

I’m not sure if this is feasible but if so, I’d love to hear or if anyone has any other other ideas
