How to search online

I have 4 seperate data bases that I want to add to my website but I want to allow people to search for something by name and year. I also want my 4 different data bases to seem as one with out acctually making one giant database. Is this possible, and how to I allow the Public to search?? please email any help to brp132@psu.edu thank you
