Hyperlink changes

I am in a situation where the company I am working for would like to change the tree structure for thier engineering files on the server. The drawings however are hyperlinked to a number of the file locations that will be effected by the reorganization of file folders. There are hundreds of AutoCad drawing files in an Excel listing hyperlinked to there present locations. Is there a way to do any sort of global redirection of hyperlinks in groups, like a rename function?
