I can’t Install NWlink on XP!!!

Here is the error…

Could not add the requested component. The error is: The specified path does not contain any applicable device.

I’m trying to add NWlink, but I get this error EVERY time! I’ve reinstalled the NIC and just replaced with a new NIC and still the same error. The new NIC is a 3Com 3C905CX-TX-M and XP Pro couldn’t find the driver, I had to install it from the software, I’m wondering if XP is not aware of the drivers in I386 and how to fix it?
