Ideas on starting up a SQL User Group

Hello Everyone,

Just recently I noticed that in my area there is no SQL Server support group. Being a DBA and knowing that SQL Server is in demand I’m thinking of setting up an SQL Server user group. Does anyone have practice in setting up such an initiative ? If so can you give me some hints and tips as how to go about it ?
