Imaging and SID

I read some discussions here regarding changing SID after deploying images. It is my third year I’m doing the same thing every year. This year I deployed 60 desktops and 40 laptops with ghost. After deploying I never needed to change their SID. And there was no errors in DNS. I still dont understand whether people did really come across problems after imaging or not? Did they ever check their DNS? What kind of issues did you have in your network environment after imaging?
