Importing excel into ms project 2003

I am trying to import data from a worksheet in excel to ms project. I go through the entire process of the import wizard, and after I have mapped out all of the fields, it keeps saying that I can not have a blank worksheet when importing. I made sure to select the worksheet I wanted to import from (when I was mapping out the field names) and it keeps giving me this msg. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thank you.
