Install Excel 2000 on PC with Word 2002?

I have a PC that came with Word 2002. I’d like to install Excel 2000 on it since I have that suite. I am aware of Microsoft Tech-Net’s recommendation to install older versions first, then newer ones. I have the opposite situation. Will there be aproblems even if I install Excel in a different folder?
