Installing Flash Player in Win2K

I have tried to install Macromedia Flash Player into Internet Explorer 6 of Windows 2000, and have not been able to. I have searched all of the web sites ( Microsoft, Macromedia, etc.) and have found no answers. The only thing I have found to work around the problem is to use Netscape, it installs and uses Flash Player. I am an IT professional so I know all about the folder sharing etc. so don’t waste time on that part of it. Thanks.
