Intel cam software default to image

I have a Intel model CS330, web-cam. A new HP computer with Windows ME. When I take a snapshot, I cannot take another untill I go to “options” and click on and highlite the image file, e.g mpeg or whatever, I can then take another snapshot,and then have go through the whole thing again.
