Intel Mac Upg Path

… not sure how many Windows/Mac mixed environments here, but I’ll pose a question anyway. What’s your upgrade path for new machines and design apps?

We have about a dozen dual G5’s here that Creative and Design use. Adobe and Quark will soon be releasing compatible code that will run in Universal. But during the transition, which will take a year to eighteen months for us, some users will be “stuck” running in emulation; which is visible slower from what I’ve been told from the testers.

We can’t afford to upgrade all the machines and software at once. Are some of my users sunk?
