Internet Explorer 6

When browsing using IE6 I keep getting the message “Microsoft Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report that you can send us to help improve internet explorer. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.”
I don’t want to send this error report and want to stop this error, whatever it is, from reocurring. Is there a fix for this? I am using Windows NT4and Office 2000. Thanks.
