Java Applet failed to activate….

When i open my I-nodes messaging (IBM), I am unable to see “new memo”, “Tools”, “Forward”…etc etc.The page although opens fully, the staus bar indiactes “Java Applet failed to activate”. I did a complete “windows Update”, I also went to Java .com and installed updates for windows 2k pro,still the problem exits.Please help
