JAVA not running on some XP clients

I’ve noticed some of the XP builds list Microsoft VM (JAVA software) under IE advanced, and others dont. The machines that dont, can’t open JAVA script websites.

I find this odd as the builds are of different ages, eg, my pc has JAVA, but an older XP build and a brand new XP build don’t. The IE version is the same.
