JavaScript to Oracle without ASP

I am attemptimg to create an HTML form that puts an SQL request into an Oracle (8.1) database without using ASP.

I know this is possible, but i’m not sure how. I have the HTML & SQL knowledge, but not the JavaScript.

The SQL is as follows:

SELECT PURN, CURRENT_CARD_NUMBER FROM CARD_OWNER.CUSTOMER_ACCOUNT WHERE PURN =”

The ‘PURN’ field will be dynamic using an HTML form to put in the request.

If ASP is the only answer, an example would be great!
