Large Table

I would like to make a LARGE TABLE on 11 X 17 Landscape Paper. The boxes MUST be square (like 1/8″) and I must be able to color them in!

Word 2000 only allows me 32 x 32 boxes. Publisher 2000 allows less. Excel I can seem to get square boxes in an Inch type dimension.

Anyone have any ideas? Other software recommendations, outside of Office 2000, are acceptable.
