We have a mainsite when our Exchange Server 5.5 resides, and a sub-site (other city) where 20 clients connect to our main site via dedicated 56k connection. The mainsite has a T-1 connection.
Problem: About five weeks ago, the sub-site began to experience latency problems when accessing OutLook from their desktop. It take 3 minutes for the program to finally open up and then another 3 for the program to become functional. And try sending attachements. The created total failure at the sub-site. If they access the email serices via OutLook Web Access, very thing works great. When if they are using the desk top software, everything comes to a crawl.
My service provider for both the T-1 and the 56k monitored my lines to see if the problems were there. This investigation turned up nothing.
So where my latency problem? On my Server?
