Livepix reports: not enough space on HDD

Livepix 1.1 used to run well on my Pc, but now during istallaion it reports just 15mb on my HDD when I have 8gb free space.
After installation, upon running Livepix, an error message says there is not enough free disc space to run this appilication.
My HDD is 10gb with 8gb free and Win 98 appears to see it as such. Can someone please help?
