Locking screenshots and text intact

I’m making a user manual in Word 2000 in which I use tailored screenshots along with the text.
Though,I lock the screenshots using the anchor and wrap options,I get the following problems.
1)The position of screenshots alongwith text is disturbed even when the file is just opened after closing.The screenshot moves a bit up or down wherby many pages are affected.
2)If I want to adjust the position of the image or text by using the enter key, the text gets behind or on the RHS of the screenshot.
3)I also want to lock the contents of the whole page so that any alterations in one page do not affect the adjacent pages.
