log in problem

One of my client has made some chavges in his pc while having administrator right in windows xp pro operating system.now he logs in as his username n password the desktop doesn’t appear except mouse cursor.i removed his administrator right he can see the desktop.now without having administrator riht i can;t even find the problem.plz try to help me out to solve this problem.
