Lotus Notes email file delivery for client on version 5 when we are on 6

Hi there,

Client wants two email templates we developed on note 6.0 and they are on version 5.012.
cannot email them because when they are emailed, they get stripped going over the internet.
Cannot save and distribute a db in 6 to a client on 5.
Has anyone else dealt with this???
