Lotus Notes & Norton Antivirus Conflict

After proberly installing Windows NT workstation i installed Lotus Notes Client Ver 4.0 and Then Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. Then when i restart the server it hangs. But it doesnt hang i first start with norton then Lotus.
My Question is what causes the first situation.
