Lotus Notes: “Sent” folder empty

by wyrmlord . Updated 23 years, 1 month ago

I have a strange problem with a Lotus Notes mailbox (actually, my boss has it, but that’s beside the point). Since August 19 outgoing emails do not appear anywhere: in the “Sent” folder, in “All Documents”, in “Discussion Threads”… Incoming messages behave normally.
Another thing is, on August 20 the local replica did have the copies of outgoing memos of 19 and 20 while the main database on the server was already missing those. Next time I looked, both were incomplete. Since then, messages can be sent normally but do not register as such.
Not one other box has, or has had, such a problem.
No, there are NO viruses, trojans, bugs, known holes, nothing. I have triple-checked those. Besides, I rather think it’s the server-mounted database that causes problems, but…
Configuration: Win XP Pro (SP1a)+Lotus Notes R6, Win NT4.0 (SP6a)+Domino 5.0.11, .nsf type 4.6.1.
If everything else fails, I’ll archive all there remains, delete the old box and recreate it, but I’d rather not.
Any ideas?
